At this point, I’ve previously reported on another branch of the store chain (or perhaps franchising?) CigköfteM, back then about the Düsseldorf store, so just briefly here.
In Dortmund’s Nordstadt, there is also the opportunity to enjoy vegan köfte. I find it really delicious, and I’ll allow myself to quote myself exceptionally: “What looks a bit like raw minced meat on the outside is actually a mixture made from wheat, tomato paste, chili, and 18 different spices. The store offers them in a mild and a very spicy version. I would recommend the former, as I found it already quite spicy. Your choice is then rolled up in flatbread together with cucumber, lettuce, tomatoes, spring onions, and pomegranate sauce, and served cold. The whole thing costs 3 euros and is completely vegan.”
